Learn to Abseil in Sussex

Go against all your natural instincts and entrust the rope on our Abseiling Experience. Lean back over the edge of our purpose built 33ft (10m) abseil tower and look down if you dare as you make your descent!

Abseiling is great fun for all age ranges and abilities, and is the perfect way to conquer a fear of heights. Our abseiling taster is designed for those who have not abseiled before or for those who wish to polish up on their abseiling technique.

You will begin your abseiling lesson with a safety briefing from our highly experienced abseil instructors and once confident in the knowledge that you are attached to a safety rope, you can choose to increase your adrenaline levels even more and try some of our abseiling challenges such as hands-free or even blindfolded abseiling!

Why not make it a full day out and combine two amazing sports by learning to rock climb as well as abseil on our Rock Climbing & Abseiling Experience?

Abseiling History

Abseiling, or rappelling as it is also known, was originally used to get back to the ground after rock climbing or to access sea cliffs, but these days abseiling has become a popular activity in its own right. Many people also use abseiling as a platform to raise money for a good cause by taking part in a charity abseil.

We also run abseil sessions for corporate events and stag and hen parties, with sessions tailored to each group.
