The Red Chili Fusion LV II is an all-round low volume climbing shoe, perfect for all disciplines of climbing.
The LV version has a lower volume fit than the standard model and is better suited to women or men with slimmer/low volume feet. Performing at everything from indoor climbing and bouldering through to multi pitch classics in the mountains, this Red Chili stalwart has seen a recent overhaul. The rand has slightly more downturn than previous models, and the forefoot is slightly wider.
A further new feature is the closure system – a combination of aramid laces, with the simple velcro tab ensures an easily customisable fit. The 3mm neoprene tongue distributes the closure force across the foot, creating a comfortable and stable foot position.
The midsole is pretty stiff making this a great edging shoe which will also provide plenty of support on long days out. This also helps with overall durability. As an added bonus the Fusion VCR comes with Impact Zone, Red Chili’s signature in-built heel impact protection technology.
