If you have significant kayaking experience and would like to learn how to kayak white water with a view to taking the British Canoeing White Water Kayak Award Assessment or just for the fun and to learn some new kayak skills, this course is for you. Using grade 2 rivers, our experienced instructors will teach you how to plan for a river trip, read the water, break in and out of 'eddies' and 'ferry glide' across the river among other skills.
Develop your kayaking skills and explore a different, exciting aspect of the sport, or take the White Water Kayak Award assessment. White water is a very different experience to kayaking on flat water so get ready for a challenge and see kayaking in a whole new light!
If you have already tried white water kayaking and feel competent enough you can choose to go straight for the White Water Kayaking Award Assessment, however it recommended that you undergo this training course first.
