Teenage river kayaking journeys in Sussex and Kent

Escape your family for the day and have some EPIC tales to tell when you get home!

We’re going on a journey!

The team will start the day with fitting out boats for the trip, we’ll recap your core paddling skills, and then head out to explore the river. This is a great opportunity to join other teenagers of a like mind.

During our expedition we’ll be making an effort to squeeze around obstacles, explore hidden streams and a spot of environmental cleaning.

Top tip: River snacks essential! All kayakers will receive the British Canoeing Personal performance Start award and this is a great opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills for those working toward DofE and GCSE skills assessments.

Our Instructors are experts in working with teenagers and introducing newcomers to the sport in a way that is inclusive, warm and welcoming. Prior kayaking experience is a prerequisite as river fitness is required. Not sure if you’ve got the right experience – get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise!
