MCI Instructors
We're looking for talented, experienced Freelance Instructors to join the Hatt Adventures team. If you hold an MCI qualification and want to deliver genuinely adventurous experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
We run climbing and mountaineering programmes across the UK, but we're actively growing our presence along the Dorset coast, in the Peak District, and throughout the Lake District. MCI instructors are central to our more technical offering, leading multi-pitch routes, scrambles, and advanced training and assessment programmes at venues across all three regions and beyond.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Mountain Training – Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor Certificate (MCI).
- Up-to-date logbooks demonstrating experience, qualification currency, and best practice.
- Current First Aid qualification.
- Excellent people skills.
DESIRABLE
- A green and environmentally friendly ethos with a genuine passion for the outdoors.
- Strong knowledge of UK climbing venues and mountain environments.
- Current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
- PCV (D1) Driving licence.
WHAT WE OFFER

PAY
£160–£220 per day, based on qualifications, experience, the role, and the course.
