Des has been working in the outdoors for over 30 years. Qualified as a Mountaineering instructor and Winter Mountain Leader. Des is well travelled and has Instructed and coached all around the world with both civilian and military groups.
Des also enjoys all aspects of canoeing and kayaking, so long as there are quality cakes and some Tea involved.
