Alex is a highly experienced Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor based in North Wales. A passionate climber through and through, his love for the sport has taken him on incredible adventures around the globe. From leading expeditions in India to scaling the iconic El Capitan in Yosemite and conquering 4000m peaks in the European Alps, Alex’s climbing resume is as impressive as it is diverse.

One of Alex's true passions lies in new route development. He has established over 50 first ascents, with grades reaching up to E5 in summer and VII in winter, and has also made second ascents of routes as challenging as E7. In addition to his climbing achievements, Alex is a regular contributor to climbing magazines, writing technical articles that share his expertise. He offers an extensive range of rock climbing courses, covering just about every style of climbing imaginable, making him a go-to instructor for climbers of all levels.
