Make a Splash With Your Family on a Kayaking Adventure

Take the whole family out for a day and learn to kayak, what better way to spend more time together as a family than by taking up a new hobby? Kayaking can be enjoyed by everyone, young and old alike, and spending time as a family surrounded by the calming atmosphere and beauty of the water is an experience not to be missed.

Whether you’re wanting to try kayaking with a view to taking it up as a hobby or just want to have a fun-filled family day out, the course will be tailored to your abilities and aspirations. Booking as a family group you will get your own experienced and qualified instructor who will work with you personally and teach you the basics, giving you useful tips and tricks along the way. You will learn how to paddle correctly, learn what to do if you capsize and get the opportunity to play a few games!

You will be guaranteed to finish your day buzzing with a real sense of achievement and confidence when you look back at the new skills you and your family have acquired, and may even be planning your next kayaking adventure...!

We had a fantastic day kayaking at Cuckmere Haven. Alex, our instructor was professional and great fun. He was particularly good with our children and patiently encouraged them to try new and difficult things. It was exactly the right balance of challenging adventure and good fun. We finished the day feeling exhausted and proud of our achievements.
