Hatt Medics offers a selection of First Aid training packages, some with the option to follow up and refresh past training courses or develop further first aid training if it is required. If you are looking to gain a qualification in first aid we highly recommend the courses below or we can tailor make a course depending on your specific needs.

First Aid Courses Available

Basic Life Support First Aid Course

This 4 hour Basic Life Support first aid course is designed for anyone to learn the basic first aid skills of preserving life, preventing further injuries and promoting the recovery of a casualty. The course consists of a mixture of practical and theoretical learning of basic first aid procedures and is perfect as both an introduction to first aid and as a refresher in the basics.

Emergency First Aid at Work

This 6 hour Emergency First Aid at Work course is designed to give individuals a grounding in basic first aid, and to ensure that they feel confident dealing with minor first aid injuries and performing CPR. The Emergency First Aid at Work course has replaced the old HSE approved 'Appointed Persons' course.

HSE First Aid at Work

This HSE First Aid at Work course is run over 3 days (18hrs), and conforms to the HSE First Aid at Work changes made on the 1st October, 2009. This first aid course is designed for those wishing to become a workplace first aider, able to deal confidently with a wide range of first aid incidents.

First Aid at Work (2 Day Requalification)

The HSE First Aid at Work - Requalification course is a 12hr course run over 2 days and re-validates those candidates with a current First Aid a Work certificate for a further 3 years.

With all of the first aid couses above you have the option to learn at your place of work or if it suits you to come our own first aid training centres in Brighton or the Sussex area.

We also offer an Outdoor and Wilderness First Aid Training specifically catered for those looking to build up knowledge in first aid and survival skills when access to medical supplies and hospital treatment is more difficult.

These are a fantastic opportunity to build on basic first aid skills that you may already have or a chance to learn how to manage medical emergencies when in the wild. Training in first aid wilderness and survival is an excellent resource and asset to have if you are considering travelling, treking or you work in remote locations or extreme conditions. Being a first aider in any situation, outdoors or at work could make all the difference in an emergency situation when it matters the most.
