Climbing & Abseiling Combo

Get the best of both! Spend the morning climbing on the Sandstone rocks of Sussex learning how to climb, and belay your friends. A short break for lunch then its off to the abseil tower as you spend the afternoon whizzing down the vertical face. You can even try it blindfolded!

Southern sandstone is surrounded by beautiful woodland and has the advantage of ease of access, being situated halfway between London and Brighton. Because of the soft nature of the rocks we can not abseil on them as it causes too much damage, so a 20min drive will see us at our 33ft purpose built Abseiling tower.

During the session we will cover:

Knots & belaying
Safety awareness
Climbing technique
Climbing etiquette
Introduction to Climbing & Bouldering
Abseiling techniques
Confidence tests
Blindfold abseiling

Venue: Sessions are run at Harrison's Rocks in Sussex, near Groombridge
Cost: £74
Duration: Rock Climbing 4hrs / Abseiling 2hrs.
Clients per group: 4-12
Equipment Supplied: All climbing and safety equipment supplied.
Equipment Needed: Comfortable clothing and trainers. Due to the nature of the locations, you must have extra warm clothes and waterproofs, we will provide you with a kit list.
Catering: Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of water as there are no shops near the venue.
Accommodation: N/A
Transport: Lift sharing can be arranged, or we will meet at the venue. The drive between the rocks and the abseil tower is approximately 20mins.
