Stuck on a desert island with insufficient resources to sustain life, time is running out for your team who must escape the island and go in search of food, water and civilisation. As they are unlikely to get rescued their only option is to build a raft which will carry them to safety. Will they manage to build an efficient raft and escape their predicament before it’s too late...?
 

The Advantages of a Raft Building Challenge for Your Team

This raft building challenge is a task which requires teamwork and cooperation to ensure the raft is built to the optimum standard! With some people excelling in design solutions and others working better with construction, everyone will get a chance to have their input and work as an integrated team to create the best possible raft, remembering that a design flaw could lead to a swim rather than a paddle around the lake! The overseeing instructor will provide your team with the knowledge and guidance necessary to build an efficient raft while letting them work out aspects of design for themselves. With such an unusual and light-hearted event we can ensure your team will have fun and bond as a group, although we can’t guarantee everyone will stay dry!

With this sort of activity, depending on your delegates, it is unlikely that any of them will have had previous experience in this field so they will all be in the same boat (excuse the pun!) in terms of ability and experience. Therefore this is a great opportunity for delegates to learn a new skill outside of the office while having a great afternoon out connecting with colleagues and is great fun for everyone regardless of age or ability.
