Wilderness First Aid
Our outdoor and wilderness first aid courses run in Sussex are designed for all outdoor enthusiasts venturing off the beaten track; hill walking, trekking, climbing, canoeing and for those working as instructors and coaches in outdoor education.
The courses are certificated by the Expedition Care Program (ECP) and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). All of our 2 day ECP first aid courses exceed the requirements for the following national governing bodies: MLTUK, MLTB, BCU, RYA, BEL, BCA, BKSA, BASI, GNAS, IRATA.
Wilderness First Aid - ECP Explorer Medicine
This 1 day basic first aid course is designed to give the individual a thorough grounding in remote wilderness medicine. The course is suitable for all outdoor enthusiasts, from walkers and trekkers to outdoor instructors, and exceeds the recommendations for the HSE Emergency First Aid at Work. The accompanying first aid certificate is valid for a period of 3 years.
Wilderness First Aid- ECP Venturer Medicine
This 2 day intermediate wilderness first aid course is designed for group leaders working in the United Kingdom's remote areas. This course is recognised by all UK outdoor governing bodies e.g. MLTUK, BCU, RYA, BEL, BCA, BKSA, BASI, GNAS, IRATA etc. as well as exceeding the recommendations for the HSE approved Emergency First Aid at Work.
Wilderness First Aid - ECP Exploration Medicine
This 2 day intermediate course in wilderness first aid is designed for individuals and group leaders working or travelling overseas in remote areas. This course is recognised by all UK outdoor governing bodies e.g. MLTUK, BCU, RYA, BEL, BCA, BKSA, BASI, GNAS, IRATA etc. as well as exceeding the recommendations for the HSE approved Emergency First Aid at Work.
Wilderness First Aid - ECP Advanced Explorer
This 2 day in-depth wilderness first aid course is designed for group leaders working overseas. If completed within 3 months of the Exploration/Venturer Medicine Course, this course will exceed the recommendations for the HSE approved First Aid at Work. This course is also recognised by all outdoor governing bodies.
