Learn to Safely Fell Trees in Sussex
Spend a day felling trees using a range of tools such as an axes and saws. Learn about the tool design and how to use them in a safe and controlled way. Learn which trees to fell and why, and how to decide in which direction to fell it safely. We will cover everything from the rope work involved to the environmental and legal issues.

This course does not involve the use of chainsaws.

Aim
To teach the safe working practices of felling, de-limbing and splitting trees using either an axe or saw.
Who it's for
This course is for those wishing to expand on their bushcraft knowledge, landowners, or those who have always wanted try their hand at being a lumberjack!
Prerequisites
None, but it will be a physical day!
