Rock Climbing and Abseiling
Rock climbing is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK, we run a range of rock climbing course to suit all abilities from our beginner climbing and abseiling experiences to climbing trips, holidays and advanced climbing tuition.

Beginners Climbing Courses
Our beginner climbing courses are run in The South East at Harrison’s on the Sussex and Kent boarder. Its in an ideal location being near both London and Brighton. Learn how to tie on to the rope and safely belay you climbing partner.

Intermediate Climbing Courses
If you’ve been climbing for a while or want to progress with your climbing, then we run lead climbing courses, where you will learn to place your own protection as you climb. We can also take you on guided climbing trips to The Peaks, Wales, Devon and Cornwall.

Advanced Climbing Courses
If you’re already lead climbing, then we can teach you how to rescue are climbing partner in the event of a climbing emergency or how to swiftly and effectively climb on multi-pitch crags.

Abseiling Experience - Sussex

Learn how to abseil and feel the exhilaration as you lean back over the edge and descend the vertical abseil tower! This abseiling session is perfect those who've never abseiled before who want to try something new and exciting, or for those wishing to polish up on their abseiling technique.

Charity Abseils

Doing a charity abseil is a fantastic opportunity to have loads of fun while raising money for your chosen charity. With venues throughout Sussex, Kent and the rest of the UK, we can set up the event to suit you.

Rock Climbing Experience - Half Day

Half day rock climbing course at Harrison's rocks on the Sussex and Kent border. If you want to try out rock climbing but are not sure if you want to commit to a full day, or have previously climbed indoors and want to take the sport back to its roots and climb outdoors for the first time then this is the perfect place to start.

Rock Climbing Experience - Full Day

Spend the day learning the basics of rock climbing and belaying on the Southern Sandstone rocks in Sussex and Kent. This course will give you all the knowledge you need to climb and belay safely, whether you just want to try rock climbing or want to take it up permanently.

Climbing & Abseiling Combo Course

Get your adrenaline pumping and spend the morning learning to rock climb on the Sandstone rocks of Sussex before heading to our 10m purpose built abseil tower for a thrill; descend its vertical face and up the ante with hands-free or blindfolded abseiling if you dare!

Climbing Holidays

Rock climbing trips and climbing holidays to fantastic locations such as the Peak District, Devon, Cornwall, Wales and Scotland. Climbing trips are for all levels of ability from beginner to advanced rock climbing.

Southern Sandstone Climbing Course

This one day course is designed teach the climber how to set up 'bottom ropes' on the Sandstone crags in Sussex and Kent. Learn how to set up your own ropes, use guide books and chose the right kit for you and the situation.

Guided Rock Climbing

Experience climbing some of the UK's finest crags, Learn how to second a lead climber using single and double ropes, remove leader placed protection (nuts, cams, hexes etc.) and rope management skills.

Lead Climbing Course

Learn how to lead climb placing your own traditionally placed protection, set up a belay point, and then bring up your second using single and double ropes.

Self Rescue or Multi-Pitch Climbing

If you lead climb and want to progress onto multi-pitch climbing or want to learn how to get yourself out of emergency situation, then we run a two day course covering either or both aspects.

Climbing In Sussex and Kent
The Sandstone in the South East is a unique type of Sandstone, that is not found anywhere else in the UK. It is and extremely soft rock and therefore needs to be looked after by climbers to ensure that it lasts for generations to come. We run specific Southern Sandstone climbing courses designed minimise the impact by climbers setting up 'bottom' ropes and learn the safest climbing techniques.

Climbing Trips
We also run a number of climbing trips and holidays, to some of the UK’s best climbing venues. Trips locations include: The Peak District near Sheffield and Manchester, The Wye Valley in South Wales, Dartmoor in Devon and Sennen in Cornwall.
