Guided Rock Climbing

Move Your Climbing Up a Notch With One Of Our Guided Climbing Courses
This is a two-day course and is designed to introduce the climber to "seconding" on "traditionally placed” protection.
You will be guided by one of our expert instructors who will teach you everything you need to know about seconding a lead climber (climbing up after them and removing their gear); rope management on single and double ropes, removing lead climbing protection, route selection and protecting your descent while abseiling. Even though you won't actually be lead climbing yourself, your instructor will help you familiarise yourself with the traditional rock climbing equipment and techniques that differ to 'top-roped' climbing.
This course is a fantastic opportunity to climb some classic routes that you may not otherwise have access to, and to explore and push your climbing ability. Courses can be held in a number of locations- we've got loads of suggestions of great climbing areas which can be chosen depending on the type of climbing or even scenery you're after, or you can select a crag of your choice.
Due of the nature of the climbing on this course, the ratios are a maximum of 1:3 (instructor/client ratio). This way you are guaranteed a personal experience tailored to you and your group.
If you are feeling brave and want to dive straight into lead climbing, or have already taken this Guided Climbing Course and want to develop your skills, why not go for it and try lead climbing with our personalised Lead Climbing Course?
