Go against your natural instincts and entrust the rope as you lean back over the edge and descend down the vertical face of our purpose built 10m (33ft) abseil tower – look down if you dare! Abseiling is great fun for adults and children alike, and is the perfect way to conquer a fear of heights. Our abseiling experience is designed for those who have not abseiled before who are seeking a thrill and maybe wishing overcome a fear of heights, or those just wishing to polish up on their abseiling technique.
You will begin your abseiling lesson with a safety briefing from our highly qualified abseil instructors, who will then teach you to use your equipment and quickly put you at ease about the abseiling experience. Confident in the knowledge that you are attached to a safety rope, you can choose to up the adrenaline levels even more and try some of our confidence tests such as hands-free or blindfolded abseiling!
Why not make it a full day out and combine two complementary sports by learning to rock climb and building up your confidence before you abseil with our full day Climbing & Abseiling Combo course, and finish your day with a real sense of achievement.

During the experience you will normally get 3-4 abseils depending on the size of the group on the day.
Abseiling, or rappelling as it is also known, was originally used to get back to the ground after rock climbing or to access sea cliffs, but these days abseiling has become a popular activity in its own right. Many people also use abseiling as a platform to raise money for a good cause by taking part in a charity abseil.
We also run abseil sessions for kids parties, youth groups and stag and hen parties, tailoring the session to each group depending on individual requirements and abilities.
Aim
To teach abseiling skills and techniques, overcome a fear of heights and to have a great time!
Who is it for?
Anyone wishing try abseiling for the first time or wanting to improve their abseiling technique.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for the abseiling experience.

Abseiling sessions are run on the Sussex and Kent boarder near East Grinstead.
Equipment Supplied
All necessary abseiling and safety equipment is supplied, including harnesses, helmets and ropes.Equipment Needed

With reference to the above adventure that my partner and I took part in, we were very impressed with Kyle, his relaxed yet responsible approach to the whole group was for us ideal.
We both thoroughly enjoyed the abseiling experience but feel that to go onto rock climbing etc is probably not for us and we will continue with the golf, walking and the G & T's (gin and tonics)!
We hope your company continues to prosper and if all your instructors are like Kyle you should have no problem.

I just wanted to say thank you for the great day abseiling I had a few weeks ago. I was absolutely terrified and didn't think that I would be able to do it, but I could not praise the instructor enough. He was so encouraging and made me believe that I could do it. I was able to put all of my trust into him and was abseiling before I knew it, going down the tower with no hands and even blindfolded! Absolutely amazing I have now lost my fear of heights and want to do more abseiling but higher.
Thank you so much for a day I will always remember. I will recommend your company to everyone and anyone who will listen to me!

I just wanted to say that I had the best day ever and I couldn't stop talking about when I got home or since for that matter!
I've always wanted to go abseiling and when this was bought for me as a 21st birthday present, I was so excited!
When yesterday finally came, I don't think I've been so nervous and terrified in all my life, but after one trip down the abseiling tower, I just wanted to keep on going!
Simon and Tom were fabulous!! They were great instructors and perfectly understanding of people who were slightly petrified!! They really calmed you down and made everything fab!! I didn't wanna leave!
Thankyou so much Hatt Adventures for an amazing day!! I will definitely be back, hopefully for rock climbing next time, if my courage holds out!!!
